Camp Planning - Hanmer Springs Forest Camp

The Hanmer Springs Forest Camp Managers, Lynne and Steve Brodie, have over 25 years experience of working with schools involved in outdoor education, and can guide you every step of the way. Our team of staff at the camp will be only too happy to show you round our facilities and and answer any questions you might have on the camp.

Why not visit us to plan the camp - bring your family or work colleagues. If your school have a camp booking then you (one teacher) can stay for free!! (Subject to availability). Have a good look around Hanmer Springs and see what the village has to offer. Hanmer Springs website.

We are developing a schools handbook and have a number of resources already available which are listed below.

Whilst staying at the camp why not visit the Thermal Pools. It is a 30 minute walk or 5 min drive to the pools. They are open from 10am - 9pm and have special rates for schools. Click here for further information on school visits to the thermal pools.

Take part in a range of outdoor activities provided by Activity Hanmer on-site here at the camp.
