Event Details Instructions
Note the importance of the event dates, if you leave the dates as todays date, then the events will disappear by tomorrow.
The event summary is just a few short sentences to summarise the event, and is used on the main events index page. If you continue to add more text and photos, then you can write much more about the event including tables of participants, sponsors etc.
If this format for events is not best for you, perhaps try changing the page layout to a news of faq format. Another option is to add a new single plain page and use the "calendars" from the columns dropdown menu in the toolbar.
