We have everything you need

Hanmer Forest Camp is in a prime spot where you have direct access to the Hanmer Forest trails. We also have a wonderful playground along with a number of fields for optimum fun. Along with 4 well-appointed kitchens there are also BBQs located around the camp for your use.

We want people of all abilities to be able to enjoy our facilities. Many of our buildings have been designed with accessibility in mind. Whatever your needs are, we strive to accommodate you in the best way possible.

Laundry

Our token-operated laundry includes two washing machines, two dryers, plus an iron and ironing board. You’ll also find several clotheslines around camp and a dedicated drying room available during the winter months. Tokens ($5 each) and laundry powder ($3) can be purchased from reception.

Shared Kitchen and Dining Areas

Our communal kitchens come fully equipped with ovens, electric stovetops, microwaves, toasters, fridges, freezers, kettles, and sinks. We also provide crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans for your convenience. Whether you’re preparing a meal or bringing back takeaways, our spacious communal dining areas are the perfect place to gather with friends and family. With plenty of seating and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, they’re ideal in any weather.

Our clean, modern toilet and shower blocks are heated for year-round comfort and include free hot showers. You’ll also find hand soap, hand dryers and hair dryers for your convenience. A baby bath is available on request, making things easier for families with little ones.
